dr n. med. Ireneusz Gierbliński
Graduated from the Medical University of Warsaw in 1973. Holds specializations in gastroenterology and internal medicine.
Long-standing staff member of the Gastroenterology Clinic of CMKP, head of the internal medicine and gastroenterology ward at the Sisters of Saint Elizabeth Hospital, and subsequently assistant professor at the Gastroenterology Clinic at the Centre of Oncology in Warsaw. Currently retired, works at the Polish Gastroenterology Foundation Outpatient Clinic.
Has extensive experience in teaching. Author of the doctoral dissertation "Diagnosis of Functional Intestinal Disorders." For over 20 years, has been a lecturer and instructor on courses at the Roztocze School of Ultrasonography in Zamość.
The scientific output comprises 70 publications, the majority of which concern ultrasonography. Of particular note are two monographs on the ultrasound diagnosis of pancreatic diseases.
Member of the Polish Society of Internal Medicine, the Polish Society of Gastroenterology, and honorary member of the Polish Ultrasound Society. Fellow of the European Board of Gastroenterology since 2003. Has been passionate about ultrasonography for over 30 years.
