dr n. med. Marek Bugajski

Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Warsaw in 2009. In 2016, completed a specialization in internal medicine. In 2021, completed a specialization in gastroenterology. In 2018, was awarded a doctorate in medical sciences. Holds numerous certificates of the Polish Society of Gastroenterology in the field of gastroscopy and colonoscopy.

Until 2023, employed at the Maria Skłodowska-Curie National Research Institute of Oncology – National Research Institute as Senior Assistant at the Gastroenterological Oncology Clinic of the Centre of Postgraduate Medical Education, and as Teaching and Research Assistant at the Clinic of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Clinical Oncology.

Currently works at Lux Med Oncology Hospital at the gastroenterology ward at Szamocka Street in Warsaw.

Member of the Polish Society of Gastroenterology, the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and delegate to the European Board of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

Areas of clinical interest: gastrointestinal endoscopy, resection procedures, preventive examinations, advanced endoscopic surveillance techniques.

The scientific output includes numerous publications in international journals (Impact Factor approx. 100). Has been a long-standing lecturer and director of educational courses, and co-organizer of the conferences Warsaw Gastroenterology Meetings, Warsaw Live Endoscopy, and Gastroenterological St. Andrew's Meetings.
