Graduate of the 1st Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Warsaw. Specialist in internal medicine, gastroenterologist. Professor at the Centre of Postgraduate Medical Education and at the Oncological Gastroenterology Clinic of the National Cancer Institute.

Focuses primarily on the diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases, including biological therapy, and on gastrointestinal endoscopy.

Organises and conducts individual training sessions and courses for physicians interested in inflammatory bowel diseases. Organises and participates in research projects concerning the diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases. Conducts clinical trials using new drugs in inflammatory bowel diseases.
