Works at the Clinic of Uro-oncology and Minimally Invasive Urology of CMKP at the European Health Centre in Otwock.

Since 2023, has served as Deputy Head of Ward.

Has completed numerous fellowships in uro-oncology, including robotic surgery training at the ORSI Academy in Belgium and laparoscopic surgery training at the IRCAD centre in Strasbourg, as well as fellowships at the Urology Clinic of the Jagiellonian University and the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin.

Specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with suspected urinary tract cancers, primarily using minimally invasive approaches.

He performs most surgical procedures with the assistance of a surgical robot (under a contract with the National Health Fund) and using laparoscopic techniques. His areas of specialisation include radical prostatectomy (RARP), radical cystectomy with creation of a replacement bladder, and kidney tumour resections with preservation of the kidney (NSS).

At the Polish Gastroenterology Foundation Clinic, Dr Omar Tayara, MD, holds consultations and performs ultrasound scans of the urinary tract.
