dr n. med. Jowita Szeligowska
She graduated from the First Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Warsaw in 2003. She is a specialist in gastroenterology and internal medicine, and a member of the Polish Society of Gastroenterology. She completed postgraduate studies in Dietetic Counselling at the Faculty of Human Nutrition and Consumption Sciences at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, and doctoral studies at the Second Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Warsaw. In 2015, she was awarded a Doctor of Medical Sciences degree.
She has worked, amongst other places, at the Clinic of Metabolic Diseases at the Food and Nutrition Institute and the Gastroenterology Department of the Bródno Provincial Hospital; the Third Clinic of Internal Medicine and Cardiology of the Second Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Warsaw (WUM) at the Solec Hospital; and the Clinic of Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine at the Central Clinical Hospital of the Medical University of Warsaw (UCK WUM). Her clinical interests include gastrointestinal endoscopy, screening examinations and patient assessment for endoscopic procedures. Her academic achievements include numerous scientific publications and many years of work as an academic lecturer.
