dr Anna Mackiewicz-Pracka

Works at the Clinic of Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine at the University Medical Centre of the Medical University of Warsaw, Banacha Street 1a, Warsaw. Main areas of interest include performing endoscopic examinations and procedures, qualification for endoscopic procedures (gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS), and pre- and post-procedural patient care and monitoring.

Graduated from the 1st Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Warsaw. Completed a residency in internal medicine at the Gastroenterology Clinic of the Military Institute of Medicine – Central Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of National Defence in Warsaw, Szaserów Street. In 2016, completed a fellowship at the Gastroenterology Clinic of the City of Hope Cancer Centre in Los Angeles, USA. In the same year, passed the specialist examination in internal medicine. Gained endoscopic experience at the Endotherapy unit at Brzeska Street in Warsaw, where, in addition to performing endoscopic procedures (gastroscopies, colonoscopies, ERCP), was involved in the treatment of internal and gastrointestinal diseases. In 2017, completed a fellowship in the United Kingdom at the Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Clinic of Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust. In 2021, completed specialist training in gastroenterology and passed the national specialist examination.

Continuously develops qualifications in endoscopic procedures. Regularly participates in numerous scientific conferences and training events both in Poland and abroad, systematically expanding knowledge in gastroenterology and endoscopy. Also serves as an academic teacher, conducting classes with medical students in both Polish and English (English Division). Awarded a medal of the Polish Academy of Sciences for scientific achievements. In 2024, was awarded a doctorate in medical sciences and health sciences.

At the PFG Endotherapy unit, Dr Mackiewicz-Pracka performs endoscopic examinations.
