Obtained a medical degree in 1996. In 2000, completed a first-degree specialization in general surgery, and in 2005 a second-degree specialization in general surgery. In 2013, was awarded a doctorate in medical sciences on the basis of the dissertation: "Clinical and Imaging Assessment of Superficial Open Sphincterotomy in the Treatment of Chronic Anal Fissure." Supervisor: Prof. Małgorzata Kołodziejczak, MD, PhD.

In 1997, worked at the General Surgery Ward of the Central Railway Hospital in Warsaw-Międzylesie, currently the Międzyleski Specialist Hospital; in the same year, commenced a postgraduate internship at the Children's Memorial Health Institute in Warsaw-Międzylesie. In 2008, was employed at the Proctology Outpatient Clinic at SZPZLO Warszawa-Praga, and at the Proctology Sub-unit of the General Surgery Ward at the Solec Hospital, under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Małgorzata Kołodziejczak. From 2007 to 2011, worked at the Specialist Outpatient Clinic affiliated with the hospital in Międzylesie (running the Proctology Clinic until 2011), and subsequently from 2011 to 2013, was employed as a proctologist at the Surgical Outpatient Clinic of the Specialist Clinic SPZOZ in Sokołów Podlaski. Currently works at the Warsaw Proctology Centre at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Goszczyńskiego Street 1, and at St. Elizabeth's Hospital – Luxmed.

Dr Agnieszka Kucharczyk is a member of the Society of Polish Surgeons and the Polish Coloproctology Club.

Areas of interest: proctological diagnostics — imaging and functional examinations, including transrectal ultrasonography and anorectal manometry; surgical treatment of proctological diseases in immunocompromised patients (post-chemotherapy, HIV-infected); peripartum sphincter muscle injuries — risk factors, prevention, and treatment; anal fistula surgery and postoperative complications; diagnosis and treatment of faecal and gas incontinence; rehabilitation of patients following reconstructive sphincter surgery; contemporary treatment of haemorrhoidal disease; treatment of anal fissure.

At the Polish Gastroenterology Foundation Outpatient Clinic, Dr Kucharczyk provides consultations, performs rectoscopy examinations, and carries out minor proctological procedures.
